The Weird and Wonderful History of the Olympic Games
A twice a week (Monday and Thursday mornings just so you know) 20 episode series of super short podcasts looking at the incredible people, whacky sports, bizarre events and crazy happenings that have happened in the last 128 years of the Olympic Games. The shows start from 1896 in Athens and the super strange 100m Freestyle for Greek Navy Sailors all the way through to the Breakdancing that will happen in Paris 2024. In between, we will look at the cheats, the mad sports, the deleted events, the Olympic gold medal in town planning, the self administered electric shock torture to win medals and a whole host in between.
